Hi Hema.. i refered many books initially. .but later i only used IGNOU notes for all sections.. IGNOU notes would cover more than 80% of syllabus... would advise you to definitely study from them... in any other doubt let me know...
thanks a lot.........
Where do we IGNOU notes for all sections?..in net only three sections about Indian History ..I hav downloaded ..
Hi Vinay,
Could you plz help me to know that for pre what all things i need to go through must for history.
And does IGNOU notes are good for Public Add also
Please help me i am preparing for target 2010
@Hema.. i would suggest you to buy hardcopy of IGNOU notes as from softcopy you wont b able to read properly... u can buy them from IGNOU center or from patel chest or book stores near JNU in Delhi..
@saawdhan ... i would suggest you to read IGNOU notes... read each n every line very carefully n try to remember all facts given in them as ques r mostly fact based in pre... you can also buy krishna reddy.. thr r many MCQs at the end of each chapter.. you can try to solve them after finishing each chapter..
For Ancient you can read DN JHA.. also thr is one very good book in hindi medium for history pre... its Kiran PUblication Bharatiya Ithihas.. it generally covers almost 80% ques asked in history pre... so if you are comfortable with hindi I would suggest you to buy that also.. u can keep reading IGNOU Notes n other books n keep comparing it with kiran so that no important fact is missd....
